Before first use, we recommend washing the briefs in cold water, without detergent. This will remove any production residues (these are not harmful substances, but may inhibit the absorption capacity of the underwear), and ensure optimum activation of the fibres in the absorption core. A preliminary wash also helps to fix the colour of the underwear and to combat shrinking.
The Penosa incontinence briefs can be washed in the washing machine at a maximum temperature of 60°C. However, a temperature of 40°C is absolutely sufficient to keep the underwear hygienically clean, and is recommended from a financial and ecological point of view.
For maximum quality retention, we advise you not to use fabric softener when washing the Penosa briefs.
Due to its large liquid absorption capacity, the absorption core in the crotch of the briefs needs more time to fully dry than regular clothing. It is completely normal for the total drying time to take up to several days. To accelerate the drying process after washing, we recommend hanging the briefs on the washing line inside out, to allow the remaining moisture to evaporate more rapidly.
– Machine washable up to 60°C on a delicate wash cycle
– Do not bleach
– Do not tumble dry
– Do not iron
– Do not dry clean
When the above instructions are followed, the Penosa incontinence briefs do not lose their functionality and last just as long as regular underwear.
Penosa stylish and washable incontinence underwear ensures a secure and comfortable feeling, all day long.
I have the Elodina briefs, that's the high rise model with lace trim, and I must say that the fit is fantastic, incredibly comfortable. But most importantly, the briefs really do work! They absorb enough urine for me to finally leave the house with true peace of mind. In the past, that wasn't the case: I had already tried a few incontinence briefs from other manufacturers (because I always got a skin rash from disposable pads), but they started to leak after no time at all! I had actually given up hope, until I discovered Penosa. Thank you Penosa, for this women-friendly invention!
